There are many places worth visiting in Seoul. According to my research, the central districts of Jongno-gu and Jung-gu in Seoul have a lot of palaces, historical sites, art galleries, and museums. For example, there are Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, Jongmyo Shrine, National Museum of Korea, and Seoul Yaksim Museum. These attractions are great places to explore Korean history and culture.

If you venture out of downtown Seoul, popular attractions include Namsan Tower, Hongdae Street, Gangnam Station area, and Bukhansan Mountain. Namsan Tower offers a panoramic view of Seoul and is famous for the love locks left by couples. Hongdae Street is a vibrant place where young people can experience various cultures and arts. Gangnam Station is known as the center of fashion and beauty with plenty of shopping and dining options. Bukhansan Mountain allows you to enjoy nature through hiking and relaxation.

In the outskirts of Seoul, there are trendy neighborhoods that have gained popularity such as Garosu-gil and Gyeongnidan-gil. Garosu-gil is frequented by artists and celebrities with numerous cafes and galleries. Gyeongnidan-gil features European-style streets with upscale shops—a hotspot for celebrities.
